No. Each person’s request is considered individually.

What would I need to enter the Assumption?

You’d need to have a personal love of Jesus Christ. You’d need to have the desire to live and work with other people for the sake of the Kingdom. And you’d need to have a resilient spirit and a good sense of humor.

On a practical level, what would I need to enter the Assumption?

You’d need to be a baptized Catholic who’s been practicing your faith for a while. You’d need to be free to make vows. (In other words, if you had been married before, you would need a decree of annulment.) You’d need to be in reasonably good physical and mental health and free of serious debt.
