European Sisters Come Together , January 16, 2009
Assumption sisters in Europe in temporary vows, and several who have made final vows in the last few years, met for a week-long course in Madrid over the new year. Twenty-five sisters took part in the course, from the provinces of Spain, Italy, France, Northern Europe and England. The theme of the session was community life, and it included visiting communities, including two communities for elderly sisters, and learning from the sisters about different experiences of community life, as well as reflecting on the continual challenge to live this essential aspect of our life.
