Knitting Bonds Of Solidarity At Assumption Center, November 17, 2009
"From Warm Hearts to Warm Hands" --- that’s the motto of the Assumption Center Knitting Circle !
Warm caps, scarves, mittens and headbands are all going to families in the Southwest of the US! Assumption Sisters have a community in Chaparral, NM --- on the US- Mexican border. Children and families there will receive whatever the creative and caring members of the new knitting circle will make.
We meet weekly at the Assumption Center, 16 Vineyard Street, Worcester, MA 01603 ( next to St. Andrew’s Church) on Fridays from 10 am – 11:30 am until January 2011. Beginners, regulars and expert knitters/crocheter’s are all welcome! Wool and needles are provided or bring your own.
For more information, please contact Sr. Therese Duross, RA at center@assumptionsisters.org or call 508 767 1356.

Knitting away!
