Early this morning our dear Sr. Clem (Sr. Maria Clemencia Alingasa) ended her long, beautiful and rich 104 years among us to be reborn into eternal life with God. We thank Him for all that she was and gave to us, her Sisters, family and many, many friends during her 79 years of religious life in the Assumption.
She went home to God on this, the sixth anniversary of the canonization of Mother Marie Eugenie, our Foundress. Sr. Clem, 98 years old then, was unable to go to Rome for the celebration but promised to knit a purple scarf for every Sister of the US Province as her way of being part of the great event. She did!
Sr. Clem now joins the Assumption in heaven, praying for all of us as she always did while she was still with us.
We will post funeral arrangements once they are finalized.
We thank you for your prayers for Sister Clem.
